Location
The app asks for your location only when you tap the button that finds the nearest climate station. The coordinate is used once to pick a station from the local list and is not stored or transmitted.
On your device
Privacy
Peak Root calculates everything on your device. Your plots, the climate tables and the verdicts stay on the phone. The app does not create an account, does not track you, and does not send your data anywhere.
Notifications
A weekly reminder is off until you switch it on. It is scheduled locally on the device.
Widget
The home-screen widget reads the latest verdict from storage shared between the app and the widget on the same device.
